Here is a quickie on tips for refinishing a stock. Its a pretty quick run down on the processes I used to refinish two stocks on my carbines. The red one is a Mosin Nagant Romanian M44 done in a Minwax 222 Sedona Red stain with a Minwax Polycrylic clear coat. The other in a natural color, is a Steyr M95 Straight Pull Stutzen Carbine finished with 3 coats of Boiled Linseed Oil (BLO).
